Yes, the road is gated now, but you can still access the road from the NE end of the lake. That gate is a real sore spot with me. One of the reasons stated for closing it was the enviromental concerns brought up by the resort owner. Now they are selling off the resort in lots and how much pollution will that cause to the lake!.....Certainly far more than people camping 2-3 months of the year.
