All the trout pressure has made them ridiculously finicky, in my experience. In the summer when the trout fishing slows down I can sometimes spot them holding off those vertical posts out there and have gotten a few on soft plastics, finesse fishing. Also that smaller pond back behind the main pond has some decent bass. Smaller spinnerbaits have worked for me, and topwater in the evening just before the park closes. You can also get into some pretty big bluegill in there, and I've caught some black crappie there too. On the other side of the freeway is what used to be pond 2, and they used to stock that with bows, but since the flood they stopped. That pond has some real nice bass, but access is a problem now with the bridge construction. If you do get back there, drop shotting has picked me up some nice fish.

I have been looking for some new bass spots here in Clark County...anyone got suggestions? Sadly the ponds by Skordhal's were closed off, so I don't really have anywhere consistent to go.
