Might be a little late for you but I would certainly ask about Lovenox. It is an injection you do in the stomach area daily and is prescibed to you by your weight.

Montoring is proabably once a month by blood draw?

I've been taking this stuff daily for months and have had no real side effects other than hating to give myself the injection every night and I seem to get cold a little easier than I did prior to starting it. I was told if you have to take any of them this is the best.
