EL PASO, Texas —
Police arrested a 22-year-old woman on Monday for allegedly hiding crack inside a bag of chocolate chip cookies.

Officers with the Northeast Regional Command Center stopped a car in the 4800 block of Guadalupe at 11:47 p.m. Monday for having expired registration. The officers noticed a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle.

They later discovered a passenger in the car's back seat, Krystina McDermott, had hidden two rocks of crack cocaine inside a bag of chocolate chip cookies she was carrying. The officers arrested McDermott on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance under a gram and booked her into the El Paso County Jail. Her bond was set at $4,500.

Police said McDermott was previously arrested in July on suspicion of prostitution.
