I decided to call the Cove Resort and the gal told me the ice went off the lake last week and they are catching lots of fish. Of course all resort owners say that. Still some snow in patches, but the resort is open for business. Be nice if they updated their website. I still don't know if I can camp on the N side of the lake, but heading that way tomorrow, so I'll let you know.
