So after catching my first bass in Beaver Lake after fishing it all winter and spring this year for trout, I am beginning to start to target bass...I do love trout fishing, but I want to try bass fishing as it poses a challenge and a new species I would love to be able to fish for. I know that there are two small (actually one is about 12 acres) lakes connected to the the main lake and are accessed through narrow and shallow channels about 200 feet long and they open up to these other two lakes. I was wondering, would these lakes have any fish in them? I would guess either that there are no fish or there is an abundance of fish. I know the bigger lake of the smaller 2 lakes has trout in it, i motored my boat around in it and saw them slurping on bugs all when I was there. But does anybody know of any bass being in the two small lakes connected to Beaver Lake? Also what is the best tactic and lures/gear and where to fish for bass at Beaver? I caught a nice little 10 incher LMB at the huge clump of trees about 200 yards up the shore from the park where the big trees break up the houses and make a gap...
