The wife put a 38" in the net on the 30th of April. We have had lots of follows but hard to get bitten sence then.
We were at Mayfield over the weekend. Saw one 24" resting in a downed tree limb but water is cold 55 deg and he would not bite anything. I threw soft plastic, crank baits, wiggle and jerk, spinner and the wife used a swim tail jig. The fish did not move till the boat blew in and touched the limb. The fish slowly moved off.
The water needs to be above 60 in most lakes before you can get biten on a regular bases.
