I had a Curado 300e filled to the brim with #40 Powerpro on the 1086. We were using a vertical "drop the jig to the bottom and rip it back as fast as you can" technique. Lucky for me, neither yellowtail took more than about 75 yards of line at a time... but I had the drag screwed down about as tight as it would go.



Cool, I have one of those. Might need to "Parkerize" it b4 heading down w/ some of those magic carbon fiber drag washers.
