Here's the deal. Macs can get viruses...no system is immune. The reason why you haven't heard of many mac problems is scale. The WW PC market has over 90% of OS's out there, so they have been the traditional big target. Hackers go where the greatest impact is and Mac's have always been small potatoes and not worth the time. Now that Macs are starting to take over more market share, they will become a more inticing mark.

The notion that Macs don't or can't get viruses is silly and a 100% marketing driven ploy. This is coming from a former Softie that knows a thing or two about this...
