Other than the Palmer entrance (first left in town when comong from Kangley) and the entrance through White River off of 410, I know of no other way in there except for through the watershed, which is not possible as of last I heard.
I was able to drive right into the area a couple of weeks ago by going through the Palmer entrance. All the gates were open. Lots of Elk sign on the wooded slopes way back in. Took a nice 5x4 there back in 91. Not sure if the gates are locked down now, but a couple guys I talked to up there said they had been wide open for months.
