After 20 years of Modern hunting I am ready to make the switch to muzzleloader. Being new to the idea, I have no real idea what I need to know.

What do you guys use? What are the particulars I need to know about this state?

I am looking at buying a relatively inexpensive rifle for now, and then if I like it, going for a premium class. I am leaning towards the CVA Hunterbolt or Eclipse, if they are legal. They state that they are good in all states with interchangeable parts, but I never trust that.
I have seen them for under $200 at Sportco and Cabela's.
