"Toddler"

FYI
Stuff I give away with the stipulation aforementioned applies only to my family. It is my intent to instill the importance of NOT placing money above helping others.
One of the boat/trailer/motor combinations I "gave" away to a young couple has a stipulation that if they sell it, they owe me $500 which is what I have into the transom rebuild. Technically, they aren't required to pay. There is no paperwork. They will choose whether their choice(s) are OK with themselves. The old man I gave the outboard to I've never met. I heard about his situation from his daughter who told me that he is crippled from childhood polio, likes to fish and take his grandkids fishing, and his motor fails him regularly.......now he calls her to say how much fun he's having.....how much is that worth?
I sell stuff like anyone else, I just don't use garage sales to do it. Nor do I hold anything against those who do so occasionally. Shopping at garage sales for the sole purpose making a profit doesn't garner my respect, is all. Nothing illegal about it. Personal choice. I think if I did have a garage sale, everytime someone wanted me to lower the price, I'd raise it, and keep doing so until they left. Now that would tickle me.
