I have had a few pairs of Riverwalkers and have always worn a size 11 in those, so I ordered 11 in the Rock Grips thinking that would/should fit the same. As it turns out, the 11's are too big and 10's fit me better. So, to answer your question directly, compared to another Patagonia model they run big by about half a size i think. They don't seem much longer, but the boot overall and especially toe box seems to be higher volume.
