I had a ball watching my son and his friends perform at our neighboring ranch's Wild West Show last week.
My son works there and spends a lot of time with the horses.
He found a bevy of country chicks to hang out with too.



The show kicked off with a salute to our flag..





Watching the youngsters compete in the hide racing event was all fun...



My son won the balloon shoot and some racing events riding a retired racing Thoroughbred.

That horse is still smooth as silk, in it's prime it won over 300 grand in prize money...



My wife supplies vintage wardrobe accessories at these events and I must say, they do look mighty fine...
