QE, I don't make excuses for some of the more extreme behavior here, I find it a fair bit childish and unedifying to the fishing community, but there are many good folk that hang out and have great information to share.

You're from the South, the South is friendlier by and large in my experience. You just won't find that Southern hospitality here in Washington, the grey skies make us mean. This isn't Louisiana, don't try to make it so.
