Hi Guys,

Thanks for your replies and opinions thus far!

I have actually been looking at the NEF HandiRifle. I too like the single shot safety factor. Some other .243 I've seen are easily in the $300-$500 range which is a little more than I want to spend. I do think that I will stick with .243 as everything I've heard so far has been positive. Does anyone think it's a little underpowered for Mulies? She'll most likely only be taking a youth hunt doe to begin with. I don't think I'm going to let her pull down on anything over 50-75 yrds. Anybody have an NEF .243 for sale or trade?

I have always been partial to my NEF shotguns both 12 and 20 Gauge. Just a good economical gun. Something about a single shot too that makes for a more accurate marksman. shoot

Regards,
Shane
