Sorry to hear you lost another one of your pets, redhook. Hope that run of bad luck you've had recently is over. If you decide you're ready for another pet, consider a rescue dog. My daughter and her husband just adopted their first dog from the Tacoma Humane Society. It's one of the best dogs I've ever been around. You might find your new "best dog ever" at a shelter.
