Well, I'm a little embarrassed to admit how many times I've used mine. TO be honest, I usually used it when I either:
A) Forgot to put powder in front of ball.
B) Did a poor job of drying breach and got wet /oily powder.
C) Hunted West side without proper vapor barrier and got wet powder.
D) Got distracted and rammed down a double load.

No matter how I screwed it up, my little CO2 unloader has been a great tool. They work very well, and those little CO2 cartridges pack plenty of punch to send your bullet on it's way.

I believe I unloaded mine in my garage once. It didn't penetrate the drywall, but it made a nice little dent.... :-)

So, there's a product review from a guy who's found every conceivable way to screw up and need this tool.

BTW, I don't usually unload my muzzleloader with it, because I always just touch te shot off. I do think that once you've used a CO2 cartridge it won't hold a charge long. And at least the one I have uses these funky little undersized cartridges, so mine is for emergency use only.

Happy hunting,

Dan
