My favorite thing about PP is the strong sense of community and shared purpose.

For the record, as a Christian, I am embarrassed at prevalent "Christian" perspectives on things like homosexuality, women, environment, and government (to name a few). It seems to me that hating gay people for being who they are, subjugating women, denying global warming, and supporting candidates that actively seek the murder of civilians so defense contractors can make even larger profits doesn't exactly square with what I've read about Jesus. But hey, it's easier to hate and fear then be kind, compassionate and decent. Until Christians, including me, begin acting better and less hypocritical, we have no place to disparage Muslims, Jews, atheists or anyone else. Even then it's not my place at least
