randle is a very good area to hunt for bear. but another spot to hunt where i have seen alot of bears and have killed three bears out of four years hunting this area. the area is skate creek just out of packwood. also greenwater is another good area. not the quanity of bears there like skate creek or randle. but if you see a bruin in greenwater he is gonna be big. what caliber of gun are you gonna hunt them with. i use a 338 win mag for them. and everything else i hunt. but besides that point. i hope you have a very successful bear hunt this year.
