My fingers are crossed as well with the hope that the predicted storm does not develop.

Been taking advantage of the river low flows (on the various north Sound "S" rivers) for some stellar sea-run cutthroat fly fishing. Good numbers with more than a few dandy size ones and enough by-catch of coho to keep me on my toes!

While the river low flows have made it tough for the river salmon fishers it has lead to a fall of exceptional fishing for those chasing coho in the salt or cutthroat in the rivers.

The good news is that if the predicted rain at the end of the week develops and washes out the cutthroat fish it will be timely for us waterfowl hunters!
