We have flown with our labs a couple of times. A lot of it depends on destinations, length of flight, time of year and airlines. I can't remember which airline we used but some have air conditioned bays, while some put them with regular baggage (we went with the airline that had the A/C), we purchased nice kennels for each one and then talked to the vet prior to the trip who recommended a benadryl just prior to the flight to help ease the anxiety. Take this with a grain of salt as we were flying to and from Hawaii.
