reminds me of the time that we slaughtered my buddies big ass pig he had... he was named "Rudy", and was like the 10th pig he had slaughtered, all the same, .22 mag to the head, start dressing....

this one didnt go so well...

a few of us went into the pen and got ready for after it was dispatched, buddy goes up with the mag, and at just the right time, we dont even know how it happened it went so quick, the stupid thing turned its head, and the bullet went into his ear cavity hit its cheek bone, bounced off, and almost blew through the skin on the surface coming back out... now theres 5 of us in a small sized pen, with a 500 pound pig that had a gun go off in its ear and a bullet wound inside its face, that was rather interesting... i dont think i will do it again...

second shot dropped it, had to hoist it up to gut it with his tractor...

farm animals sure can be a pain in the ass sometimes...
