I've never seen anything but they say they like to wood knock. My wife and I woke up at 3:30 AM awhile back to really loud wood knocking coming from our back nine. I can tell you right now there is absolutely nobody that goes back there even in the daylight due to how thick and steep the terrain is. I can't walk down the hill through the dense down trees and bramble back there so I don't know, maybe it was a taradacapecker or some dang thang. It was loud enough to wake up my wife and I. We live up above Duvall and Carnation.
