Just be careful any any other attempts to Salvage. if the boat comes up and it is damaged, And they deem the damage is caused by you. They can claim neglegent salvage and you would be on the hook for damages. I guess this is why Salvage companies are Lic and Bonded. also if you do it again, and it is sunken and abandoned for 7 days, file a salvage lien, then they have to pay your salvage bill. it's in the RCW's. Or nex time get them to sign a release of Liability for any damages that may happen with the authorized salvage. Really just cover your azz. and good job on bringing it up in great shape, The other boat also lost both Oars. Congrats


Day after boat went down, I watched as another group tried to get the boat out.....they actual had a rope on the boat........WDFW LE was there at the time....they tried to pull from the gravel bar side, moved the boat enough that a box of plugs floated close to the boat ramp, they were retrieved. They pulled some more......broke the rope......they were still trying to get a rope on it.....but I left......if any damage, it could have happened then...
