How do you guys scent your yarnies?

I tie mine up for the specific color of the yarnie. And most all scents when added to yarn will slightly dye the yarn the given color of the particular scent.
This is something I want to avoid. What's the point in a great color contrast and bling of the yarnie only to take away from that with dulling it with scent

I don't have great success with yarnies in the first place. And I just ran out of eggs. So I'm gonna be fishing yarnies a lot more. And want to get any edge I can with them.
