Carcassman River Nutrients Registered: 11/21/07 Posts: 7825 Loc: Olema,California,Planet Earth	Just what rules did the guy violate with the elk? I made a quick look through the rules and didn't see anything that says I have to call WDFW if I kill a previously wounded animal; if I kill it legally. I can see some issues with the butchering in the field and taking only the meat. Why was the agent waiting for him at his truck? Was it really late at night and somebody reported a poacher?
