Bob, I'll think up some good controversies over the weekend and I'll throw the first stones on Monday. Here's a little one:

How about the Muckleshoots netting off Duwamish Head in downtown Seattle for chinook this week? I've got a little bit of research to do before I bash them too much, but an opening gambit would be something to the effect that even if they're only netting hatchery fish, isn't this horrible press for a group that claims to be "stewards of the land"? Most people seeing it on TV or in the papers probably wouldn't know the difference anyway, and all of us are going to have to tighten our belts with Puget Sound chinook being listed. I would think the average (uneducated or not) Joe would think this is a real pisser.

Due to the overwhelming response to my request for Kalama reports, I'll be hitting the Zipperlip instead in the morning. No offense, but I sure hope to NOT see any of you there!!! *JK*.
