I found this on another site. "Studies sponsored by Idaho State, WAshington state, the Canadian Government, and many other such entities have shown that the economy is much better served by recreational rather than commercial fisheries. These studies show that the number of fish it takes to support one commercial job could be supporting anywhere from 10 to 50 jobs if the resource was managed as a pure recreational fishery." So we could cut the harvest in half and have more jobs.
