The rig I built works great, as I built the 10-22 specifically for shooting farm pests at night. I should rig up a pressure switch flashlight to the barrel, but as it was, I located the treed climber with the flashlight, then while holding the light on them, I centered the red dot between their eyes.

They came down with a thump, doing the dead chicken flip flop when they hit the ground. Couldn't have asked for anything more. 2 shots total, and I was done.
