Yes, they would, because just like most the right wingers here, they don't understand or give a schit about anything beyond the big "R" behind the name.

If it was someone without name recognition or demi-god status then they'd never make it past the primaries.

Obama's policies are far more in line with Reagan's than any of the clowns who kept glazing over in the eyes during the Republican primaries and chanting "Ronald Reagan" over and over again while the fools in the crowd swooned.
