Didn't we fight a war over no taxation without representation?

I think this would open the commission to anyone with an agenda rather than the overall well being of the people of the state in mind. Think about it. How many special interest groups can you think of who would feel they should be represented? I can think of 30 at least. Way too big a group.
I think a balanced set of representatives can make decent decisions if they have the people in mind.
