getting ready for concrete...cabinets...granite and all the little finishes




these are my cabinets at the wrong height...there was a light in the way so the cabinet guys decided to put them 4 inches from the celing...not ok with me...the lights had to be moved and the cabs went up...if that was the only thing that went wrong this would have been a great build and we would not have fired our builder...he sucks ass and is way too slow

























my island....now before you guys go saying...why do you need two dishwashers...its because I hope to be busy fishing and don't want to have to put dishes away...hahahha...two dishwashers were my dream...I hate dishes and I like that I can just do a top load or a bottom load or both...I don't want to do dishes dammit!



and yes...after 19 emails back and fourth with my contractor about my sink and it being only one tub they cut my granite and put in a two tub sink...19 emails about one tub and how fish don't lay in a two tub sink like a one tub they cut my granite....a 8 ft by 5 ft slab had to be recut and replaced cause they put in the WRONG SINK...the night before this happened was when we decided we had to fire our builder



















that's about where we are at...they just grouted 625 square feet of tile out of 1500...this is a two bedroom two bath house with a custom tile 6 by 3.5 foot shower (I call it my three person shower) we just need carpet..mirrors...the custom glass door for the shower with two hinges and a handle...we are the painters....and yes my concrete is colored to match the roof...it will be that dark grey color...all the headache from the contractor and tony and I are still married after building this house for almost a year..

we are running out of time for the shop to be built for our loan...getting bids from other contractors now to build the shop...this builder will not get our easy money from the shop...full disclosure on our builders name and who not to hire if you pm my but for legal reasons im not going to post that just yet...but think twice about you builder and talk to tony if you ever have any questions he can tell you everything to not do over some bottomless fries at Red Robin...that's all he cares about hahahhaha....anyway...its almost done and that means we can fish again...
