While fishing the other day I saw multiple fish while drifting down. Those fish didn't move until the oars got to them and they just moved over about 5'. I'm sure if I was running a motor it would have been different.
I have had occasions while bass fishing that I would run over a hole a few times then let it rest for 10 min before fishing and it works.
