Anytime a tragedy like this happens folks are going to try and pigeon hole it into their chosen political prism in an effort to gain power, money or votes.

The simple fact is that in a free society tragedies like this will happen.

And that will be followed by folks pigeon holing it into their chosen political prism in an effort to gain power, money and votes

Not a lot of votes in the reality of, "[Bleeeeep!] happens in a free society. Bury your dead and carry on."

Especially when half of that society just wants the Government to leave them alone and the other half wants that same Government to coddle them!

And the wider that gap the more power, money and votes to be had!!!
