I've had the fortune of working mostly for companies that provide benefits that would be heavily taxed (40% penalty for providing too good of health benefits - YGTBFKM) under this plan and wonder how that will negatively affect my future benefit packages. Hitting middle age with a wife and five kids benefits is a much bigger deal now.

states the goal is for employers to scale back what they spend on UN-TAXABLE benefits and instead add more to their employees TAXABLE pay checks (again YGTBFKM if you think that's going to happen)

So bottom line is the ACA will penalize businesses to coerce them into moving more of their outlay into a taxable category. Pretty sneaky tax if you ask me.
