Okay, here's the thread I promised... Season wager is for a bottle of decent whisky (I'll provide)...

RULES:
* Each week you pick which team -- Hawks or Niners -- will do better AGAINST THE SPREAD... I'll post the lines on WED.

* If either SF or SEA have a bye, no wagering that week.

* Dec 8 you pick winner vs. the spread of the 9ers/hawks game. Please post your pick as the first word of your post, smack talk/etc after you post is encouraged, particularly if it involves Hankster.

* Must post your answer before kickoff of the early game, and posts cannot be edited/replaced/altered once made. If you want to wait 'till Sat for an edge, then wait.

* One point per week you guess correctly... Top point getter wins, tie breaker will be the person with the longest "winning" streak to end the season. If that's still a tie, then person who submitted their entry first on the week their streaks began.

* If rules need clarification/improvement, I'll make changes here and in a post at the end of the thread...


SPREADS FOR WEEK 5
SEA -3
SFO -6.5


EXAMPLE
#1 -- Both teams win by 7. Then SEA was the correct pick, as they had smaller spread and won by the same amount

#2 -- Sea loses by 1, SF wins by 1. SEA still the correct pick, they did better after spread adjustments were added...

#3 -- Sea loses by 7, SF loses by 3. SF wins, because after spreads Sea loses by 10, SF loses by 9.5.
