Very strange, I lived in Pelican in the late 70's, at that time there were a ton of fish there, we caught halibut to 200 pounds off the dock with handlines and if we had a boat to use we would catch them all up and down Lisianski inlet. I actually prefered Yelloweye rockfish for eating and they came big and plentiful. Salmon fishing was so simple I've had a hard time fishing here for them. There was a creek about 3-4 miles south of Pelican that had good fish runs. I like to think they still get fish like they used to. By the way what are you going up there for? Also Robbo, what years were you there? C
