FishinFool, You might consider a little farther south, specifically Prince of Wales Is. around the town of Craig, late July and early Aug. is prime time for bigger kings and the silvers are usually thick in early to mid Aug. halibut fishing is also excellent at this time, and I think the weather is generally a little better then Sitka, there are also a number of very good charter operations here, good fishing
