Most definitely.

Upon entering Cook Inlet, most of the tracked kings spent 2-3 weeks milling between the Kenai/Kasilof mouths. That first king (#9484) spent 19 days swimming laps in front of the Kenai mouth before committing to the river. King #9562 spent 25 days running the Kenai-Kasilof Relay before committing to the river on Aug 19.
