Thank ye there Hillbilly for adding a little bit of sanity to this BB. I agree with ya that he probably was just venting his frustrations. The thing that I can't understand is why Fishkisser didn't just turn the fish loose if he tailed it for the guy, or why he didn't just say something to him at the time instead of later on this board. As for the game just lying on the ground after you shoot it, I have been trying to figure out how to C & R ducks for a long time. Wouldn't that be nice to experience the adrenaline rush of a pair of mallards decoying in, shoot'um up, take the feathers you need for your latest fly creation, then sprinkle some magic powder on them and they fly away!!! Let me know when you come up w/this magic powder I'll be your first customer. I agree that a few responsably taken fish is ok. Just in this day and age, there is no such thing as a resposnably taken native steelhead!!! Another thing that I don't understand (It's been discussed a little) is how you can justify the taking of native salmon, but not native steelhead. Just my .02 cents
