Makes you wonder if the aggressive bucks are keying in on the pink color, while the more subdued hens are hitting the more subtle orange color.

Me thinks one should run a pink and orange worm and keep a tally of bucks/hens caught. Use the same brand of worm.

in 3 years of bobber dogging worms running 1 rod with pink and 1 rod with either op nightmare or clear water orange... i have gotten 3 fish in 3 years by making a 2nd pass through the exact same line that didnt yield a fish the first pass and all 3 were hens and all 3 were on clear water orange worm after either nightmare or pink.

and i have gotten 1 buck on clear water orange to about ~20 hens.

38.5" hen on cw orange after tbird and i beat up the hole with nightmare and steelgum (bubblegum)... first cast with cw orange
there was some big fish that were in a couple mile stretch that day
