All of those examples are farts in the wind compared to the media frenzy that this will cause. It's also a sophist argument because in most cases the team is dealing with it after the fact. They do not draft people with serious issues for the most part. Tons of talent never sees the field and you never know their names. Now every group not associated with the NFL but is pro gay will jump on the media pig pile. From a purely business stand point the downside is a mountain to the molehill of his talent. I could care less that the guy is queer but saying he won't pay a price for it is naive. Btw john elway wins how by saying what he really thinks? The only ones that win are the people that want to run around calling everyone a bigot . They have nothing to lose it's not their money it's not their life but they are the loudest .
