I'll agree with you BOB D. The internet as useful as it is, it is not the place to learn the secrets of fishing. In todays world seems like lots of people want instant gratification in all they do, fishing included. I think good fisherpersons learn mostly by observation of the enviroments that they fish. It takes a long time to get good at the difficult sport of Steelhead fishing even when a person has the natural talent of picking up what's happening around them. More newcomers just need to pick a small portion of a local river and just fish it and fish it until they start to figure out that Steelhead fishing is really not about how to rig a pink worm but how to fish that worm. And the only rewarding way to fish that worm is to figure it yourself.

As for the bitching on this site, it's all politics and Steelhead should be politics with the situation they are in.
