Don't know if this will help or is what your looking for, but the general rule that I have used is a 30" fish is 10 lb. Anything over that is about a pound per inch. So by this method a 37" fish is about 17 pounds. As you can tell this is not very scientific but it is usually accurite to within a half pound. If the fish is really chunky then add a little weight or if it very skinny take some away. This was shown to me by a guide, and I have tested it to some degree on hatchery fish and found it to be fairly accurate. Hope this helps.
