I fished from about 2 p.m. to about 5:30 p.m. yesterday, April 14, up in the canyon at the deadline and the several drifts immediately below there. The water was up about a foot from last week and was colored, but still with about 3 feet of vis. I thought the conditions were excellent to get the fish moving and make them less spooky. I heard that some fish were caught in the morning, but I got nothing, and no one I talked to had done any good that afternoon. But one of these next few days should turn out to be really good, or at least better than slow.
