Have you read any of his work. I think the contrary opinion should always be studied as much if not more than work that parallels your world view. At this point in time I think everyone should read the Zinn Reader. Spicifically the ignorant left or right but also moderates , and conservatives. A bunch of it is tripe but there are some very valid views and it will help you see the real America not just the one you want to see or where taught. You must trust me on this point.
