FWIW, No, not surprised at all. this is super old news...& further If Anyone is surprised by these "Shocking Developments" , and now changes their portfolio in any way...they have their head so far up their ass I could care less what they think. There is a class of Americans who are truly clueless about how things work, unwittingly or not.


All other opinions of mine aside ( & since I have been talking about market manipulation on the darkside for years) is that this is simple a media tactic to keep the masses distracted from the last disaster TPTB would rather not discuss. Next week it will be a new disaster. and so on....
