I agree. We use chameleon fairly often in the early heavy flows during the spring, when our water looks like chocolate milk. Once the water starts to clear, forget it. Our fish are very line shy, and they won't even tolerate 6 pound chameleon. I call it chameleon in clear water, because it makes our invisible. Ultragreen is a softer line to work with, and doesn't bother our fish near as much as chameleon in clear water. Our fall kings will run from Chameleon. Neither one are worth a rip on a spinning reel in our weather conditions. I use the Excalibur for spinning reels with floats, and Utragreen on my baitcaster. The chameleon in 15 pound is used by a lot of guys as a shock tippet on their fatline. Hope this helps. Go Fish
