My concern isn't so much fishing from the boat as it is the liberal regulations applied to the native fisheries on the river. The river doesn't go to catch and release of natives until the last day of february.........2 weeks before the whole river closes. Unfortunately alot of anglers(I use that term loosely)still kill natives on that river. I believe, as most of the fisherman on this board do, that catch and release of natives should be year round on all washington rivers.Though the Green still has a decent run of natives I think the loosening of the regulations will hurt the fishery in the end.
